Life is short, embrace humor and find reasons to laugh often
My friend and ex-Instagram partner Natalie and I rented a Tesla Cybertruck today and drove around Westport, Connecticut! … Found a celebrity (Michael Rapaport) and got to try some new technology.
We hit the roads of Westport, interviewing locals to uncover their genuine thoughts on this futuristic vehicle. Some loved it, some hated it, some refused to comment.
While the Cybertruck's sleek futuristic design is undeniably eye-catching, getting in can be a bit of a challenge! We could not figure out of to use the door "handles" and PRESS HARD was something we kept saying. I felt secure while inside, almost like a tank but as a busy mom of two, I have mixed feelings about the automatic self-driving feature—although I can see how it would make long trips much more enjoyable, I am still not ready to fully trust the self-driving feature. The Cybertruck's trunk has ample space yet accessing it can be tricky due to its rear visibility challenges and dept.
As someone who appreciates a balance, I’m more inclined towards hybrid vehicles that combine electric and gasoline efficiency. I loved the aerial 360 camera feature and the interesting self-parking system, although it can take its time—definitely something to consider for impatient drivers!
Overall, my experience in the Tesla Cybertruck was enjoyable and eye-opening, and I can't wait to rent it again for more adventures and to learn more about its interesting features.
All in All, today was definitely a win.
